Testimonials
In placement Jay gave me the confidence to explore the type of Therapist that I wanted to become. Observing Jay with his clients was an insightful and wonderful experience because I got to see firsthand how dedicated, passionate, straight forward, and client focused he was with his clients, therefore it propelled me in the correct direction of how to treat and value clients. Any clients considering therapy with Jay will be a changed client for the better!

Many years ago I used EAP counselling service that was provided by my work place, and were external from my work environment, so provided a service to various work industries. During the two seasons, I felt they did not provide the help or guidance that I required as they lacked the understanding of my working environment and complexity of the clientele I worked with. Ultimately I was told, I know myself and the clientele I work with, so I didn’t need to see them anymore.

With the several session I received from Jay, which was done in a professional and confidential manner, and demonstrated a clear understanding of the complex work I do. He was able to provide the correct guidance relating to my working environment, and an understanding of the complex clientele I worker with. I would not hesitate to recommend Jay to anyone as he also provides an open, welcoming and warm personality.Client

My first appointment with Jay was in September 2016, I was at my lowest point ever. My partner of 5 years had walked out of my life, I was so depressed that I was unable to work; my finances got out of control and couldn’t see anyway out.

My first impression was that Jay did not look like the typical therapist; he arrived at my home on a big motorbike. As soon as he started talking I felt he was truly interested, and with his support I found myself looking towards the future.
I had therapy twice a week at the beginning, and I currently see Jay once a month to help keep me focused on my goals.
It has not been an easy 12 months, I did consider suicide on more than one occasion, but I managed to stopped myself.
Jay really believed in me, he came into my life when I was at my lowest, and on several occasion between our appointments Jay would send me a text message, providing me encouragement to complete the difficult tasks ahead.
Friends have asked why I have continued to receive therapy when I am doing much better. I see my appointments with Jay as an opportunity to debrief, and to ensure that I keep enjoying my life that is full of new opportunities.Client
